You make decisions every day – from simple things like:
What food to eat,
What is your priority for the day?
What photo to use,
to major decisions regarding finances, friends and work.
There is the added complication for some decisions that involve other people, with likes and options that do not always coincide with yours.
What do you choose when one option is for you and another is what someone else would like?
How can you include all these factors and what process can you use to make a decision that is good for you and those around you? How do you decide?
What part of your psyche or brain or spirit do you use?
How do you feel about your decision afterwards?
Are you too busy to notice the consequences? Or are you hesitating because of the consequences?
When you live in the moment each decision and process flows. It comes from a place that cannot be accessed by the intellect. At the same time, it has a wider knowledge base than the intellect has access to. It can access infinite knowledge through spirit and your heart. It is often called intuition.
When you are rushed you block out your connection with spirit and infinite knowledge. Fear and victim stance takes over.
You are doing and living while not being truly aware of what it is you are doing or living. This can lead to a sense of dissatisfaction. Life goes by and you lose a sense of having lived it.
On the bright side you always have access to spirit and each time you make the choice to listen to the spirit within, you strengthen your resolve and your life.
You can listen to your mind, but for a sense of satisfaction and joy it is important to follow your heart.
